When Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare was announced, I was excited, but when it was only announced for Xbox One & 360, I was quite disappointed. After months of wishing and hoping since February, it was announced for PC in June. I was like "okay, this seems promising, now where's Sony?" then later on, Garden Warfare was FINALLY announced to come out in August. I was so thrilled to finally hear that and couldn't wait to buy it. I finally bought Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on September 1st. I've enjoyed it ever since, this game IS ADDICTING! The maps are good, well designed. The characters are cute (well, the plants anyway), detailed nicely with each one having their own special ability as you level them up, along with upgraded abilities. The game modes are about the same as any typical shooter. Team Vanquish is Team Deathmatch, Vanquish Confirmed is Kill Confirmed, while Gnome Bomb is a bit like Search & Destroy, but you respawn while both teams all go for ONE bomb. You also have Gardens & Graveyards which is a hold your own type game mode, with the plants trying to protect the garden from the zombies and prevent them for turning it into their graveyard. you also have Classic Garden's and Graveyards & Team Vanquish which is the same, but without the ability to use.. well, any abilities or customized characters. A level playing field basically, which is good, especially if you're new and have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Speaking of starting out. If you're not up to just jumping into a 12v12 chaotic multiplayer match without having a single clue of what to do, then you can always try Garden Ops. Garden Ops is a co-op mode. Four players defending against all types of zombies trying to destroy the garden you need to protect for 10 waves. Some will be BOOS WAVES where you'll have to defeat (along with regular zombies as well) bosses like Disco Zombie, The Yeti, or our favorite, the Guangantar. It varies. You can deal with just one, or two, or ALL THREE OF THEM! Or if the Zomboss Slots decides to, it'll land on three of the same boss, so you'll have to defeat the same boss. You can decide to play on Easy, Normal, Hard or CRRRRAAAZY!! (yes it's spelled like that), which if you're a trophy hunter, you'll wanna beat all of them. As you play, you earn coins which go towards opening up stick packs in the sticker shops. There are 8 packs. They vary from 1,000 coins to 40,000 coins. you'll ave sticker packs to get you potted plants to help you in Garden Ops, sticker packs that'll give you customizable options, like tattoo's, glasses, beards etc, other stick packs can be either JUST for Plants or JUST for the Zombies, and if you're lucky enough, when you open either one, you'll unlock a character part. If you happen to have 40k coins, buy the Spectacular Character Pack and get a new character. New characters are new versions of the characters you already have unlocked, but cooler and more powerful to use. I currently have no issues with this game, besides maybe the ranking system. The only time you'll rank up, is if you level up each of your characters. I personally prefer it to be both by leveling up the characters and earning xp throughout game modes, but I guess I'm okay with it. Cons: Ranking system, slight lag Pros: Characters, maps, game modes, customization, sticker packs, Co-op Overall, if I have to rate the game, I'd give it a 8/10. Hope you enjoy this review of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. - Geno
